American Express wanted a new platform for their music content and live events. Unstaged created a whole new way for fans to connect with their favorite artists. I was the Experience Lead for the new music platform on a team of 8-10 people. We created a hub for content from artists currently defining music culture. The primary content is videos helping fans get an up close and personal look into the artists’ lives. The series partners influential filmmakers with the music industry’s most talented and creative artists to develop extraordinary shows held at incredible venues. In addition to directing the live performances, the filmmakers go beyond the music to capture the artists behind the scenes. The process of creating interest around hundreds of videos from YouTube to a new live platform was challenging. You can see one of my early prototypes here.
